Linda Bark, PhD, RN

Linda Bark PhD, RN, MCC (Master Certified Coach)

I want to change the world. I agree with others who think that coaching can help do it and in fact, that coaching is here now because a new model is needed to help us move in a new direction. Coaching is about partnering, about respecting, about deeply tuning into what is important. As we do that more often, things change. Hooray!!

Yes, you may notice that I am a pretty positive person and, quite honestly, I like being that way. But for me it seems pretty easy when I work with people day after day who are reaching their dreams and having fun doing it. Now this doesn't mean that there aren't hard days or that the sun is out all the time. However, it does give me a perspective both with my own life and those I serve, that much can be accomplished when attention, intention, intuition and purpose are harnessed to move toward better living.

I have 2 nursing degrees, a masters degree in Life Transition Counseling, a PhD in philosophy and religion, an Integral Health Studies Certificate and years of workshops in personal and organizational development.

I have pioneered new professional pathways by starting a nursing private practice in 1970 and by bringing holistic nursing to hospitals in the 80s. During the 90s I led medical tours to China for health professionals, lived in China to discover how to help Westerners create a context for Eastern healing, consulted to organizations nationwide to start up holistic healing centers, taught holistic coaching playshops and teleclasses to health care professionals all over the country.

My work takes many forms and I work in various fields. However one thing is constant: nothing makes me happier than to co-create learning experiences that empower people and help them live and maintain a sense of ease, fun and fulfillment.
