Maggie Jackson, RN, BSN, HN-BC
I have been a registered nurse since 1998, after working in other caring professions for 24 years, and have viewed health more from a natural viewpoint, or as a fundamental truth, than as a science for many years. Key markers on my path towards wholeness include reading Awakening Spirits by Tom Brown, Jr. many years ago, my Holistic Nursing class and readings, and the special people on this website - Linda, Kathy, Sally, and Lisa, who continue to lead me to new ways of learning and living. As I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through distance learning at Regis University, and am now working towards my MSN in the distance learning program, I feel strongly that technology can bring us closer together. Through the information highway and our universal energy, we can meet to share our knowledge and enjoy new experiences no matter the distance in miles. |

Catherine Osterbye
Catherine Osterbye is a practitioner of massage, hypnotherapy, bodywork and health coaching. She has taught massage, hypnotherapy, and assisted with health coaching trainings. The things that have contributed most to her work have been the sessions she has received from others, and practicing the Japanese martial art of Aikido. She believes that health is a function of awareness and order. She writes, The more aware we are, the more we able to connect with ourselves and others, ultimately becoming aware of the connectedness of all life. The more highly organized we are, physiologically, structurally, and psychologically, the healthier we are. I regard each loss of organization, whether an illness, a car crash, an athletic injury, or loss of a job, home, or relationship, as an opportunity to re-organize at a higher level. That is, to come into alignment with our present goals and capabilities. Catherine lives in western Sonoma County with her loving cat, Pastel. |
